The weather has been beautiful here. But you can sense
winter coming. I have tried to spend some time out
doors, the afternoons being blue and gold, but
I know what is coming.
I do not like winter. The layering, the woolen things,
the covering every inch of exposed flesh. My flannel
pajamas are out of storage and fresh and clean. I have
put the flannel sheets back on the bed.
Winter is coming, but we are enjoying these
warm days as much as possible.

Ah winter, yes, it is a cruel and cold time.
It is 65 and a bit windy here today, but the sun shines as always. (sorry)
I read this post and wondered where you lived that makes you dislike winter so.
And then I saw. And understood. Winters are too long and too cold there. We get very mild winters here in Maryland.
